Our Story

Built From the
Ground Up in 2015.

Wildridge opened on Memorial Day weekend 2015 on land that had been a working cattle ranch for three generations. Founded by the Hargrove family with twelve rides and a single food court, the park grew into Iowa’s largest independent theme park in under a decade.

Today Wildridge employs over 340 full-time and seasonal staff and welcomes more than 280,000 guests annually. The 2024 addition — Thundercliff, a 180-foot hyper coaster — drew visitors from fourteen states in its opening season.

Every two years we add a major new attraction. Every single day we open the gates at 9 AM.

4820 Ridgeline Drive, Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613. Free on-site parking for over 3,000 vehicles. Approximately 10 minutes from downtown Cedar Falls via US-218.

What are your opening hours?

Daily 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 365 days a year including all holidays. Hours extend to midnight during special event weekends.

When did Wildridge Adventure Park open?
